If you’re starting dreads or have even had them for a while, you have probably had this issue: stray hairs poking out of your dreadlocks, making them appear fuzzy, unkept, and messy. There are several solutions to this problem.

Trim That Fuzz

In a recent post, I discussed the easy and quick solution of carefully (and I emphasize carefully) trimming away the fuzz surrounding your hair. It’s a simple solution, and gives you immediate satisfying results. You just want to be careful and avoid cutting through a dreadlock.
